Africa is the second largest continent in the world, coming in after the Asian continent. The continent of Africa spans about 11.6 million square miles and is home to about 1.3 billion people — the second largest population in the world (3).
With 54 countries and 9 territories ranging in size and population density, the past few years has seen Africa’s steady transition from the margins of the global market to the mainstream. With foreign investors taking a renewed interest in the resources and untapped markets of these diverse countries, technology is beginning to play a significant role in the continents future. (1). 1) BitMEX
BitMEX is a P2P cypto-coin trading platform. The company recently announced that they will be working with the South African based, Exonumia to offer translation services for Bitcoin content into some key African languages.(2).
